3 days until I start my second EM elective…it’s been way too long 🥺 I can’t wait to feel part of a team again 😊

Also got back on peloton for the first time since I started studying for Step 2 (more than a month)… Kendall Toole absolutely kicked my butt 🥲

People who can say “thats enough chips for now” and roll up the bag and walk away… they are on another level…

When you interview for a spot in our residency we will be asking some standardized interview questions which has been shown to reduce bias from interviewers. But we also understand that interviewing is a stressful time, so we will be providing the questions ahead of time /1

ERAS submitted, EM electives and IM sub-I done…I feel like I can take a breath after 3.5 years. I’m sure it’s been talked about to death but constantly being evaluated as a medical student is mentally taxing. I’m excited for the next step but glad I can relax for a little :)

Also a friend who’s doing her EM elective is going on a hike with the staff instead of didactics this week 🤯. This specialty was made for me #EMBound

Why do people keep mentioning underlying medical conditions when someone, usually a child, dies of Covid? It’s unnecessary from a public health standpoint and frankly awful.

If you have been unfortunate enough to need emergency care recently, you know this: Our Emergency depts are at a breaking point across the country - with #covid19 as the thing that tipped the scales. Sick patients, no beds, staff burnt out. It’s scary. npr.org/2021/10/26/104…
