Lovely to meet up with D Day Veteran Ken Cooke at the Thanksgiving and Remembrance Service Eden Camp Modern History Museum on Sunday 7 September. Ken's just recently celebrated his 100th birthday and shows no signs of slowing down! 😉

I was privileged to be Korean War Veteran Ken Keld's guest Eden Camp Modern History Museum on Sunday 7th Sept. Good to see so many young cadets in the parade at the Thanksgiving and Remembrance Service. Lest we forget.

Great gig in York on October 7th. Such energy and enthusiasm from The Empty Pockets and wry, dry humour and charismatic performance from the legendary Al Stewart. So many fantastic songs - Time Passages, Across the Border... Thanks Al, and all who played on stage it was magical!

Oh this is heartbreaking to read - kindness counts in the classroom and can make such a difference in so many ways. God bless this teacher, and may today's teachers find strength to carry on making that difference. Parents and teachers in partnership makes for peace of minds.💖

Women having time together is the stuff of life. Here’s a photo of my mum with friends in the early 50’s when attending #Brighton Municipal Teachers Training College on Eastern Parade. She told how they’d climb from bedroom windows to the roof and share their dreams with the sea

Last week, we took our 6-year-old son, River, to the Clarks Village outlet store in Street to get him fitted for school shoes. Since River is autistic, he finds it really tough to handle crowds, long lines, and noisy places. The store was packed! I knew he wouldn’t manage well

Today I visited one of the prettiest bookshops I’ve ever seen, The Little Fox Bookshop in Whitby. Whimsical, fun, and with the most gorgeous selection. I came away with two books for Jack and a pin badge for me. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

This is one of my all time favourite poems. “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost. The brilliance of the poem lies in its ambiguousness and its meaning has been interpreted in many ways. But as an extended metaphor for choices in life, I largely agree with its outcome.
