Here we go again with MPs being able to claim expenses on food and alcohol while at work in parliament. But can a NHS worker get a hot meal on the weekend? NO they can’t. They’re not even asking for a free meal… just a hot one. What an absolute disgrace.

You could very easily have a student halls style system at a mid-range Westminster hotel where they get an en suite room, which would not cost £40,000 per MP per year. A hundred quid per room per night would be almost half that.
