As we move into the final month in the current Maendy Primary school building, we would like to say thank you to all those who attended the recent ‘Maendy Memories’ event, including former staff members Mrs Gabe, Mr Helps & Mrs Jarrett (pictured). Wonderful evening! CwmbranLife

To mark the occasion of the last ever day for pupils in the old Maendy Primary School building (21/05/25), we held a special ‘goodbye’ assembly, did a whole school conga & signed our names on the wall in the main hall. Farewell to these buildings which have held so many memories.

A £17.1 million primary school in Cwmbran opened its doors to pupils this week. The 420-space building replaces the existing Maendy Primary School, in Northville, and is the first fully net zero school in the borough. orlo.uk/kcdmr

New Intake Meeting for September 2024.

A big thank you to one of our Y6 parents, who kindly offered her time today to deliver a voluntary workshop to immerse the pupils into her family’s faith & culture. We tried Pakistani foods & clothes, as well as exploring Islamic festivals and prayer routines. #familyengagement

A big thank you to the kindness shown by Darran Dowey, & Ebenezer Evangelical Church, who provided their annual gift for Y6 leavers - a bible & stationery. He also carried out a personal prayer with pupils as they embark on the next step in their education journey tomorrow. 🙏 ⛪️
