Kenneth Kemucie a remote sensing expert @icpac_igad presenting on #EO data availability, sustainability & usability. Availability does not translate to uptake or usage, to increase uptake, the #data needs to be user-friendly, #training needs to be conducted & #awareness done.

To understand & use #GIS data effectively, capacity building is vital, GMES TRAINING @MakerereUniversity through @icpac_igad & GMES, and Africa provides training on the use of software & tools for #EO & how to use EO data for monitoring natural resources and #FoodSecurity.
