Alex was an ICU Nurse at the VA. To choose that line of work, and to do it a VA, says everything about him and his selflessness. What a profound and brutal loss for his family, community, patients and our country. Every elected official should condemn this unequivocally.

The man was an ICU nurse. Being an ICU nurse is maybe the hardest job in a hospital, and the people who do that work dedicate themselves to helping the most vulnerable.
