Delighted to have written the cover story for the current issue of Volunteer Magazine, a 7-page look at how the Civil Air Patrol's pandemic response has surpassed all the organization's other efforts over the last 80 years, including World War II and Deepwater Horizon missions.

It's the 40th anniversary of the first space shuttle orbital launch and landing. The photo is of me underneath one of the shuttles while it was inside for maintenance.
