I want to share an amazing moment I had at the gym today. I was working out on a chest machine doing flies when I looked up and saw a young man waiting nervously off to the side. I asked if he was waiting to use the machine I was on and he said, “yes, I’m sorry, I’ll come back”.

Soon to say farewell to an old favourite - a White Rose ('member them?) Boxing Day 85% off sale, this Christmas tree dates back to 1990. My new replacement just arrived from Balsam Hill today. A lot has happened in the past 35 yrs with almost all of it commemorated in some way.

The tree needles are shredded green garbage bag material twisted into coat hangers ....

Even stuff commemorating dear friends (yes, judgment implied). Happy to say the tree has already found a new home on the proviso I get to visit it, and bring a new decoration every year. I think that's only fair, no ?
