I am pleased that CERF - The UN's emergency fund has allocated $3 million to support Namibia’s drought response. This funding will provide vital humanitarian support for around 164,000 people. We are proud to be the largest contributor to CERF, and will continue to do all we can to save lives.

Deeply moved by my visit to Kigali Genocide Memorial today. To honour the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, we must work together so such tragedies never happen again.

Today I met with Paul Kagame to discuss how 🇬🇧 and 🇷🇼 can continue to partner for success. We discussed the strong UK-Rwanda partnership on a range of issues including trade, climate and growth, and I welcomed Rwanda’s continued engagement with the Luanda peace process.
