I’ve known displacement for most of my life and have dealt with notions of land, home and connectivity for a long time. Heck, I find myself in Berlin now while I was in a completely different country a year ago. The process of moving and settling i tied to my process of healing.

In our fractured modern world, many of us long to re-weave that web of connectivity and heal those ancestral, ecological, and cultural wounds. But what about us wanderers, exiles, inheritors of generations of fracture and separation?

Connection to place is simultaneously something that takes practice and it is also one breath away, one song away, one sincere request away.
