Happy to share some of the work I contributed to as a visiting student in the lab of Feng Zhang at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Led by Han Altae-Tran and Soumya Kannan, the study uncovers diverse, previously unknown CRISPR systems using FLSHclust, a new algorithm for fast and deep protein clustering.
