LiveSplit 1.8.26 was just released, and it includes an update to the Video component that makes it only compatible with VLC 3.0 (was previously VLC 2.2.1). If you're using the Video component, you'll need to update to the latest version of VLC.

LiveSplit 1.8.29 introduces a change to the update prompt (it no longer appears in the background) that should hopefully prevent issues with the program eventually hanging if you decline the update. Unfortunately, all previous versions of LiveSplit have this issue.

If you are running into this error after updating LiveSplit, please re-download the latest version from livesplit.org/downloads (You can copy the settings.cfg file from your old LiveSplit folder to the new one to keep your settings.)

You might need to unplug your Controller before starting LiveSplit if that's the case for you.

LiveSplit's performance being worse for some users is likely due to the large number of SRL races today. We'll look into a fix.

LiveSplit 1.7.4 has been released, which adds "Minimum Sections Before Current Section" to Subsplits and copy/pasting to the Splits Editor.
