Greta Van Susteren Saw a mansion on millionaire’s row ,in the 1970’s, remove black walnut solid 5/8” paneling from a billiard room. And replace it with oak. All the stain glass doors were removed also. The owner was asked what he wanted done with the old panelling. “You can do whatever you want

Greta Van Susteren They are doing this in my parents neighborhood - all newly sold/purchased homes have been painted white with black trim. It is awful

Greta Van Susteren This is what’s known as a really bad renovation….I don’t mind painted brick, but now the house is just a white blob, with no contrast or interest.

Greta Van Susteren If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Screams 'new money'!!!! Now it looks like somebody fixed up their prefab with cans of spray paint from Home Depot. I would be surprised that a real estate agent wouldn't say that it lost a lot of its market value.

Greta Van Susteren I do, too. There was a gorgeous house in my town made of gray stone. They’ve done it over in white picked out in black (I blame Joanna Gaines for that color scheme) and added gilded stripes and ornaments at every architectural detail. Oh, and giant pedestals with little tiny

Greta Van Susteren Ruined a nice home. Surprised they didn't paint it gray. In construction, we call them gray ghosts. Value drops, and nobody wants the property.

Greta Van Susteren Agreed. Unfortunately there's a large number of incompetent realtors that are telling sellers their property won't sell unless they paint it totally white inside & out. And the worst part is they're doing this blinding whitewash on antique homes with intricately carved black

This is really something. New England's six states vote about 40 percent Republican, and have literally zero republican representatives in Congress.

JD Vance 40% of New England votes red. Zero Republican seats. That’s not democracy — that’s design. The map’s drawn, the game’s rigged, and they still call it “representation.” When one side keeps winning *everything,* it’s not politics anymore. It’s control.
