It’s shaping out to be an exhausting Thursday….

Unless you are willing to join.. unfortunately on my own it is

“How dare I ever offend the great Donna Paulsen!?” He smirked before sliding a glass over to her.

“Well I would take drinking with you over drinking alone any day” He smiled as he raised his glass to her before taking a sip.

“Confessing?” He laughed as he looked over at the red head. “I didn’t say I was confessing anything.”

“Perhaps I am confessing.. perhaps you should have joined me sooner and I wouldn’t have had to.” He laughed as he stared at her, almost a little too long before drinking from his glass again.

He placed his glass down on the counter, the sound of the crystal against it almost ringing. He focused his attention her. “You know me better than I know myself at times Donna.”

He laughed at her comment before he brought his glass up and took another sip. “And I would marry you for two more Donna.”

“Warn my girls?” He couldn’t help but laugh at her comment. “Donna you are the only girl…”

He laughed slightly. There were times when he forgot how much about his life Donna knew, and to him, that made her special. “You know.. you really are one of a kind Donna.”

He laughed as he set his glass back down. “No Donna. I promise I’m not having a stroke.”

He couldn’t help but smile at her, her smile was contagious. “Are you ok? Should I be the one calling the ambulance?”

He held that same smirk as he looked at her. There were times that he found her difficult to read, but today.. he found her quite easy to read. “You don’t have to drink it. We could.. perhaps go grab some food?”

He smirked as he grabbed his suit jacket off the back of his chair as he extended his hand to her. “It doesn’t have to be.”

“It’s easy to relax around you Donna..” He smiled as he put his jacket on. “I don’t know how it is that you do that.”

“Well I was going to go home and just sulk in my own misery… but now I’m thinking we should go out.” He couldn’t help but laugh as he looked at her

He smiled as her arm wrapped onto his. “I would never make you pay for dinner.” He leaned over softly and kissed the side of her cheek. “You can pick the place.. wherever you want to go.”

He smiled as he guided her out the door and to the waiting car for them. He opened the door and ushered her inside. “Let’s not talk about anyone else tonight… u just want to talk about us.”
