Very thankful we decided to stay for 10 days rather than 7, so instead of being stuck at the airport for the day with an international IT disaster... I was chilling with (another) ice cream by the sea 🍦🌊

Celebrating passing my final assignment of my PGCert 🎉 My submission for my final assignment was delayed due to being unwell in May so it's SO nice to finally find out I've passed the year. 2 more years left to hopefully get my masters 🤞

Friendly reminder that it's ok to go back on your decision to reduce your meds if it's not working for you right now After a few weeks I realized now probably isn't the best time to reduce, even though it felt like the end of the world But guess what? The world kept turning🌍💊

What she fails to mention in this post is how much she has kept me together over the years. Hours on facetime, long drives across the country, fabulous life advice (even if she doesn't take it herself...) You are the most beautiful soul and I'm so lucky to call you my bestie

Real talk: the past couple of months have been tough. A bipolar relapse compounded by a police case, ending of friendships, and the general end of summer sads has hit me like a tonne of bricks. But a reminder for all: set backs don't erase progress. One step at a time 💜

Me: minimal bipolar symptoms when I take my medication properly Also me: wow maybe I never had it in the first place and I made it all up and I’m actually fine and just being dramatic

Me in August: oh I'm so stable clearly I've made up that I have bipolar, let's stop taking my medication properly to prove I don't need them. Me in September: I wonder why I'm showing signs of a relapse this has come completely out of the blue 🤷🏻‍♀️

After a 2+ month long depressive episode I am finally back 🎉 Mood stabilisers adjusted and CMHT input has got me back on track So for now I'm back to enjoying the little things, like dinner and sleepovers with my gorgeous friend Harriet who's been by my side since we were 11💜

I've been back to my old school recently. As an undiagnosed autistic teen, school confused and overwhelmed me, a lot I love seeing how much more student support there is now. It makes me happy to know current students are getting what they need to thrive 💜

Question for anyone/ everyone: If you were to have teaching on neurodivergence in the work place, what would you like to learn about? We are bringing it into our mandatory training and I want to make it as useful as possible! Any suggestions/ ideas much appreciated 💜

Daytime: working and doing my masters Nighttime: brain homework 📝 Been working through a bipolar management course with CMHT I usually like to ignore bipolar when I'm well, not wanting it to define me BUT- I do have to pay attention so I don't get ill. It's about balance ⚖️

I hope you have all had a peaceful Christmas 💜 I worked a lovely afternoon shift on Christmas day (maternity at Christmas is special) after seeing my family briefly in the morning, and then the pups definitely enjoyed their boxing day walk yesterday!

Day 3 of the snow. Everything is now ice. Road? Ice. Car? Ice. Garden? Ice. Snow? Ice. Me? Ice. Dogs? Ice. My morning view from bed is gorgeous, but the cars are still stuck and I'd quite like a trip to the supermarket soon 😂

Grannies really got it right with tea and soup and knitting and doing puzzles and sitting outside listening to the birds and having a sweet treat and going to bed at 8pm
