Really incredible coverage this morning from Ali Velshi and Ayman on MSNBC of the Hamas attacks on Israel and what happens next. Thorough and nuanced and smart.

Where is the House Republicans house leader on this? Nowhere because there isn’t a Speaker due to MAGA chaos. Predators around the world thrive in chaos. Hopefully the House Democrats can deliver some stability and security amongst the GOP chaos.

Again, the $6B to Iran for the prisoner swap was in aid, food, medicine, and equipment. Not cash. Most military support (actual cash and weapons) for Iran comes from Russia, China, and North Korea. Not the food and medicine we sent.

JD Vance lies a lot, but this is bad even for him. - No US tax dollars were sent to Iran. Iranian funds frozen in South Korea were transferred to Qatar. - That money can only be spent on humanitarian supplies. - NONE of the funds have even been spent yet.

I can't comment on 2024 because of the Hatch Act.  But I can clarify the facts: Not a single cent from these funds has been spent, and when it is spent, it can only be spent on things like food and medicine for the Iranian people.

It’s times like this that we are lucky to not have a president who gives classified Israeli intelligence to the Russians.

Attack on Ukraine democracy is unjustified. As is attack on Israel. Both causing horrendous civilian casualties.

It was TRUMP that allowed Iranian oil sales that generated the $6B in aid that we exchanged for 5 Americans. The $6B is not cash. It’s food, medicine, and aid. Trump Republicans and Putin armed Iran.

We sometimes overlook this because we're more preoccupied with his criminality, but at this point, it can be justifiably said that Donald Trump is THE most documented liar in human history, and I DO mean ALL of human history, going way back even to the Mayans and Mesopotamians.
