Brilliant opportunity to present at Pint of Science UK! Thoroughly enjoyed it! This public engagement thing gets easier every time ☺️. Thanks Health and Life Sciences Public Engagement for organising this fab event! #pint23
Had an absolutely amazing time in Sydney with Phage Australia - Connect. Discover. Cure learning all the steps involved in phage production from the fab Jessica Sacher, PhD and Stephanie Lynch, PhD 🤗 and such great phage chats too! It’s been so so useful, and so much fun making new phage friends ☺️
Touched down less than 24hrs and more phage fun! 🤗 This time public engagement at #GetCurious Science and Industry Museum talking everything phage #microbialpuppetmasters including Paul Miller’s VR lungs which were a big hit! With over 700 people attending the event! Now for a nap 😴

A few talks that I found inspirational at #microsoc2024 1) Prof Cathrine Rees showing the timeline and hoop jumping of getting a phage product to market. 2)Sophie Helaine - the role of prophage in salmonella persisters. 3)Lucy Thorne - her wonderful public engagement endeavour!
