Today officially started my summer break (summer school just ended) and I am already bored and looking for more work 🙃😂

This is my first summer as a teacher and this is exactly how I feel. My partner has been supportive with me trying to adjust to this new norm. Next year I am definitely going to plan trips!!!

Today was a very eye opening and vulnerable training experience. Capturing Kids Heart did an amazing job of making me do some self reflecting and genuinely find ways to grow as an educator. I can’t wait to see what I learn from Day 2. @IHeartCKH ✨

Wow. Expresses my feelings after today’s final training of “Capturing Kids Hearts”. I am going to share some of the affirmations I received from my classmates. Definitely made me shed some tears and I am glad my personality shined in such a short amount of time. ✨

Gooood Morning! Headed back to the campus this morning and I must say I’m excited to see how this year goes!

And when you pray tonight.. pray for the courage to give it your best at all times. We often do things for the sake of doing them just because we think no one is watching. You’ll never know who’s in your space and the kind of power they possess. Your life can change in a blink.

As a new teacher it is a little disheartening when you are excited for the school year and veteran teachers dismiss your happiness… But I am still going to take my excitement and use that to fuel me for this year and the years to come ✨

The first month of school flew by and I am actually thus far with how everything is going. Goal of this month is to finish decorating my room lol

A little over a month later and I have not finished decorating my room BUT I have made tremendous progress lol The goal is to now be done by Christmas Break 🥴😂

Cannot wait to watch our students tonight and tomorrow! ✨

Y’all the Armstrong pep rally was so hype that I ended up popping my knee out of place 🫠😂 Definitely a great way to start off thanksgiving break 😂
