Mastodon has now become my main social media platform. It's fascinating to see Ev Williams, Biz Stone, Anil Dash, and others using Mastodon like early Twitter. Change is afoot. You can follow me on Mastodon here: sanjuans.life/@lee

THIS is such a great story! 1) I hate a blank page and love experimenting with creative constraints. 2) These are the little gems that give me hope for the internet. Thanks Lee LeFever now on Threads for sharing this.

I feel like we're getting back to our roots in social media. Our first videos care from passion for blogs, wikis, rss, etc. They are about ideas and not companies. Once companies started running the show, it wasn't as exciting anymore. That's why Mastodon is different for me.

It's been fun working on this video, in part, because I'm fascinated with the fediverse and new, less-commercial directions for social media. I've enjoyed using Mastodon and believe it's a healthier approach to connecting online. My account is here: sanjuans.life/@lee
