LBMS StuCo LOVES our Cafeteria Heros! Student Council made gift baskets for our cafeteria super heroes to show our gratitude for their service to our LCP family.

Wildlife students from LBMS spent the Spring semester building fishing rods for their annual fishing trip. They had a friendly visit from two of our wonderful Game Wardens while fishing! It was great to see the end product & even better to catch fish with a rod that they built!

LBMS students competed in a cyber robotics coding competition hosted by TeamViewer, we finished in 9th place with 84 teams across the United States participating. Team members include:Jake Walker, Arden Pin, Judson Glover, Ryker Seedfeld, Natan Macharia, and Santiago Gurrola. 🤖

With the support from the Lubbock-Cooper Education Foundation, Mrs. Brown's LBMS 7th grade Honors RLA students collaborated to publish their essays, poetry, and short stories in an anthology! Students celebrated their growth as writers with a book-signing party!

LBMS 7th graders Katelyn Tuxbury and Lewis Collier participated in the Daughters of the Republic of Texas essay contest. Katelyn placed first in district and Lewis received honorable mention. Congratulations!!! 🏆

Shannon Kunkel, 8th grade science teacher, was our very first recipient of the Rock Star Teacher Award! She was honored for being a "flame presenter" during our back to school professional development week. We appreciated her time, energy and effort. Way to go Mrs. Kunkel! 🧪🔬
