Every child has the right, just like White kids, to see themselves in the curriculum reflected meaningfully and accurately. They have the right to learn about truth. Otherwise, it's a "learning loss." Go fight against that.

What a disappointment (I can’t think of a word that truly expresses how this makes me feel - I am a Chinese American, just like Mia)! This is why I choose to support local bookstores instead of B&N.
