Yesterday afternoon at 5pm Layton dispatch received report of a brush fire near Hobbs Reservoir. ME52, BR52, BR53, BC51, & Davis County Fire Warden responded. Thankfully the fire was contained to under a 1/4 acre & no structures were damaged.

Vehicle fire on I-15 at Hill Field Rd today at 3:48 pm No injuries occurred, and fire was quickly controlled.

ME51, ME53, A51, A53, & BC51 responded to a motor vehicle accident at Main St & Angel. Two occupants were transported to local area trauma centers. One of the occupants required mechanical extrication (jaws of life) to be removed from the vehicle.

Critical incident at 1100 W & Highway 193. Please avoid the area. Traffic in the area will be affected.

At 9:01 am. ME52, A52, & BC51 were dispatched for a pedestrian vs. auto incident at 1100 W & Highway 193. @northdavisfiredistrict also responded to the incident. The patient was flown by @uofuairmed to the University of Utah hospital.

Overnight hazardous material spill. At 1:41am a double trailer fuel tanker truck traveling southbound on hwy 89 lost control and jack-knifed. This caused the trucks saddle tank to rupture and leak approximately 40 gallons of diesel fuel.

Utah’s first responders put their lives on the line to protect our communities from harm’s way. My prayers are with LaytonFire, who answered the call to help combat wildfires in southern California. ksl.com/article/506888…
