Male Euophrys frontalis jumping spider from today These guys are tiny - this field stack of 50+ images at 5 * mag then the 45 mp file is cropped to give an effective 10 times mag !?! Handheld with natural light so those are the suns photons reflected in its eyes not flash :)

Red Squirrel 🥰 They're our native species here in the UK. Once widespread across the isles but now almost completely replaced by non-native greys. We really must protect these wonderful animals!

My new favourite thing - glow worms! #insectweek A brilliant guided walk last night in Kippax organised by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. Glow worms are actually beetles and the females give off this bright green light to attract males.
