The late Indiana State Police Master Trooper James Bailey played high school basketball for the GHS Athletics . As a senior in 1990-91, Bailey hit the game-winner against DeKalb to end Garrett's 19-year losing streak in the county rivalry, according to the Aeolian yearbook.
