It's like that moment when you spacewalk in #NoMansSky for the first time and float far enough away your ship practically disappears... Complete isolation and smallness. So beautiful.

Unpopular opinion: Alpha looks better. Clean, colorful, sleek. It's what made it stand out. imo, the immersion of the old design was still part of the world building & it was evident. It didn't need to feel "lived" in cuz it already achieved that through its own art design.

I'll believe it when it launches and I can play it. To be fair, I'm saying that for a lot of game announcements these days. Games slated for 2027? Forget it. The further out the more likely to be delayed. Normalize having a shorter marketing campaign.
