Am I the only one who doesn't like landing pages with components that only show up dynamically as you scroll to them? It's so annoying. Just show me the content!

I already picked one of my 30ish ideas to work on this week, but I just stumbled across a new idea that I am shocked I haven't seen done before (at least I can't find anything like it). It's actually pretty simple but I'm super excited to dig into it further! 🚀 #buildinginpublic

Wanted to try out Cloudflare pages functions as it seems cheaper than Netlify. Spent sooooo long trying to figure out how to get it to work and just connect to my database I gave up on it. Switched everything back to netlify functions and everything just WORKS! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

Just had a chuckle thinking about how a couple decades ago I kept swapping margin and padding and had to visualize myself sliding down a hill in a box with protective padding on the inside and slick margarine on the outside to help me remember 🤦🏾‍♀️😅 #buildinginpublic

This weekend my PC started shutting down for no reason. 😬 I think it's my PSU but first I decided to do a little cleaning. After dusting and crossing all my fingers and toes, it's been running smoothly for a couple of days now. Only time will tell if this actually worked🙏🏿🤞🏿🦶🏿

Finally finished up the MVP for the idea I started on last week. Admittedly I had been procrastinating because I didn't want to deal with timezones. 🫣 I finally sat down and just dug into it and it wasn't too bad! Now I just need to come up with a name, AKA the hardest part 😅

A friend found a bug in timetilapp.com today! So glad they could help me and actually try it out! I ended up finding a bigger bug while fixing it and now I'm wondering how many of the people who have been trying it out encountered this bug without me knowing! 😬

Today I'm figuring out how to play a sound when an event on timetilapp.com happens, without user interaction... which apparently is not as straightforward as I thought. 😅 It can't be that hard! All these support chat bots are making noise all the time! #buildinpublic

Got side-tracked but I did figure out sound for timetilapp.com. There are tricks you can do to autoplay audio, but not consistently across browsers. So I just added an unmute button to get the user interaction needed to enable playing sounds. Oh well 💁🏾‍♀️😅 #buildinpublic

Started on a new free tool idea this weekend, a dinner planner to help you figure out when you need to start prepping dishes so everything is ready on time. Definitely inspired by Thanksgiving coming up but could be used for any kind of gathering!
