A really thoughtful and well written article by Dr Richard Kueh in Tes today. Clearly sets out the problems of RE as a Cinderella subject, but also recognises the incredible possibilities that come with high quality RE

Thanks for engaging! Though I agree, whether or not RE should be in Nat Curric is just part of the issue. It’s the absence of either nationally-agreed content or statutory basic standard that leads to lots of variability in what pupils get in RE, in the worst possible sense.

Today, when these beauties arrived, I realised that this is the 70th booklet that #OpeningWorlds has written. Just 2 more to go & KS2 will be complete. Nearly 300 primary schools around England now get children reading at least 800 words a lesson of this gorgeous stuff.
