This is a very important read, and it makes me thankful for the bravery of Alicia Hayden, and grateful to BTO for tackling these issues. There is no place for sexism or bullying in birding and bird ringing.

Thank you for sharing this difficult and traumatic experience. It shows how (peer) support to engage / re-connect with ornithology and nature can help, but also how being open, really listening and learning how to enable this as an organisation is also essential.
