Real Q: academic #nlproc ACL 2025 COLING 2025 what's your opinion? Considering banning my lab from comparing on closed-source models in paper subs. Much of LLM research benchmarks & extends SOTA; paying for APIs w taxpayer $$$ AND then open-sourcing our IP for them to use.
