In 1982, on this date, just three days after my 14th birthday, we all got one of the greatest gifts ever.

In 1998, on this date, just three days after my 30th birthday, we got one of the most oddly glorious gifts any Trek fan could ask for — and relate to— courtesy of Mark A. Altman * and Robert Meyer Burnett, Viceroy of Verisimilitude. And of course William Shatner.

I used to ride when I was (much) younger. And I really want to get on a horse again. This just makes me want to even more. Great job, Scott Mantz 🖖. You had a heck of a teacher!
