Take this opportunity to assess reading practices as students return to school. I am glad to see choral reading, which is a staple of music classrooms, as a smart alternative along with reading choice.

I believe that the fear mongering regarding CRT is intended to usher in the banning of any teaching of substance on the history of slavery and racism and on the current devastation of racism. And I oppose quoting my father to facilitate that fear and to usher in that banning.
