Ole's project was on course for success, we were so so close to the top. We were only a Rice or a Casemiro away. Then Ronaldo came in & it all went wrong from there. That's not disrespectful to Ronaldo. It was a mistake from the board. Ole & every true fan knows all this.

That last tweet is why I'm certain Ole returning is the right choice. It's undeniable at this point that under Ole it was the closest the club has been, post Sir Alex, to being where it should be & playing the football we should see. It's an unfinished story we must restart.

Amorim needs a miracle to turn it around & to play a different formation. I don't think he'll do it, so he'll go. I want what's best for the club & that's why I keep talking about Ole returning. Because we've tried other things & nothing else has been anywhere near as successful.

Anybody who thinks United had ANY opportunity to sign Neves for 60m like PSG did is an idiot. Secondly. United under the pressure we have now, in the GK position is not a role that we can ASSUME that a young man can walk in an handle it. Martinez can. Don’t write off either

SilvaOB. Just so weirdly disingenuous to assume "final piece" when it's obviously 'biggest need'. We all want a midfielder, staff & execs too, clearly. Equally disingenuous to assume spending power was endless. Why cultivate these narratives? What's the purpose? To feel smarter than them?

Manchester United had a good summer window, but also might have missed a trick by not signing a midfielder. Both things can be true. They’ve signed good players, good long term prospects, but couldn’t fix everything at once & have prioritised attack & goalkeeper. This is what

This, along with the replies they have is another example of someone who watches too much TV and an over inflated sense of intelligence.

Manchester United needed a midfielder, I'm disappointed they didn't sign one but also glad they didn't panic buy another Antony, give a bloated pay day for another Casemiro. I'm glad they aren't compromising money for the right signing, because without European football the
