BREAKING: Apple just proved AI "reasoning" models like Claude, DeepSeek-R1, and o3-mini don't actually reason at all. They just memorize patterns really well. Here's what Apple discovered: (hint: we're not as close to AGI as the hype suggests)

Apple did more for AI than anyone else: they proved through peer-reviewed publications that LLMs are just neural networks and, as such, have all the limitations of other neural networks trained in a supervised way, which I and a few other voices tried to convey, but the noise

🚀 New in Docker Desktop 4.42.0: Logs tab in Models view! Now you can monitor your AI model inference engine output in real-time. Debug faster, optimize better, ship with confidence. Perfect for ML engineers who need that live feedback loop! 🔍⚡

github.com/apple/containe… This is interesting! Not only for containers, it also allows spawning lightweight virtual machines 👀 And it being OSS adds to the news 🔥

Working with GGUF files, but don't want to leave the comfort of your Java home? Checkout this new project from my Docker colleague Ignasi. You know you are in for a treat, if the Java variant is qualified by a "4j" suffix 😎🤓 github.com/ilopezluna/ggu…

New side project in progress: I'm working on a project to test remotely, thanks to Docker Compose and Docker Model Runner, the capabilities of Small Language Models (I'm using it to qualify the SMLs that can run on my Raspberry PI 😉)

I have a new article on our Docker blog again. Checkout my little guide in how to publish models into Container Registries and into Hub using Docker Model Runner. Also shows how to package your custom GGUF model files as OCI Artifacts: docker.com/blog/publish-a…

Amusing that when using the em dash (—) there's the assumption that you used AI to write stuff. This is because ChatGPT uses it a lot but most people don't (ChatGPT probably was trained on lots of quality writing) Except... some people use the em dash when writing!! E.g. I
