When my book club meets to chat about our latest read, the host makes a meal relating to the book. My turn now and I want to do a Turkish buffet (we read Elif Shafak's 10 mins 38 sec in this Strange World: superb). Any ideas for quick vegan dishes, please?

If you are a part of the #sapphic fiction community, you've probably heard the rumors about one of "our" authors deceiving everyone by claiming a fake persona. He's still not telling the full truth, so I & some author friends are doing it instead: jae-fiction.com/catfishing-in-โ€ฆ

Having to put the Sapphic w-i-p aside in order to write the 15k word kids' book I'm contracted to write isn't easy for numerous reasons. No swearing, no sex, minimal number of sentences starting with the word 'and' and no sentences without a verb. Tiresome.

I love the new recipe review cards by @maryreads81! Here's the awesome review she cooked up for my sapphic fake relationship romance Just for Show!

When you've finished the 1st draft of the novel you've been living and breathing the past few months and then you're lost. That.

So, most of the time I'm awake (!) I either write or read. Sometimes, I write about what I've read, but only if I really like something. Thanks to Jae for the ARC. Those of you who know me will know I only write honest opinions!

Before people start asking this question, I thought I'd beat you to it. After all, it's no secret that I like to take a deep dive into big topics. So why gender identity? Why gender identity in later life? I answer these questions, and more, here... katherineblakeman.com/post/the-big-qโ€ฆ

You know it's an admin day when instead of writing 'She kissed her,' your sentence includes the phrase 'successfully sourcing external funding'.
