With a few more trades I think we could build up a solid farm. Our 1-5 is still mid to slightly weak but our 5-20 could be pretty elite which is pretty much the opposite of what we’re used to

Probably the best defensive prospect this century (with Garrett) and basically grew as little as possible. The only consensus weakness he had at OSU was not using a lot of rush moves but he was so dominant it didn’t matter, but he didn’t learn any in the NFL. Knee injury also

He had a good draft and deadline but we need an outside GM not Debartolo, a fresh approach not Rizzos AGM. People will say he’s an analytical mind but everyone in the league is an analytical mind besides rizzo, we’ve sucked for so long that competence is mistaken for greatness

Ppl don’t wanna hear it but we probably shouldn’t be keeping the guy who was the agm for the worst run team of the 2020s anyway

Jacob Kirshner (@kirshnerjacob) 's Twitter Profile Photo

In a lost season why are we playing Jacob young. Maybe he provides more value this season than the alternatives but there is 0% chance he can ever contribute to a good team. Better chance we find someone that can actually hit and field than young ever not becoming a pit hitting

I think we have 2 futures starters in the majors rn with my expectation that one of Cade or Lord work out, which is more than I expected. Gore is a clear 2 and Cade seems to have the potential to be anywhere from an ace to in the minors. Lord has a very solid SP4 ceiling

Power back build with the mind of an elusive back. Infuriating when he tries to kick it outside with his stone feet, especially bc he’s huge, showed some flashes early last season but just isn’t a RB1.

Imo Soto was the better player than Bryce but was always gonna follow the money even if he enjoyed his time as a nat. Bryce was probably willing to take a discount if we didn’t defer half the contract. We also got value back for Soto none for Bryce which made Bryce hurt more

House obv needs a lot more time but it’s slightly discouraging to see all of his weaknesses showing and some of his perceived strengths like power being below average. Great fielder which raises the floor and the power will come but the overall ceiling is pretty limited atm

Jacob Kirshner (@kirshnerjacob) 's Twitter Profile Photo

We need a high energy guy like crews to become elite because while I think wood will be a top 3-5 player in the league, it’s probably discouraging to the rest of your team when your centerpiece doesn’t care when he strikes out. Or at least doesn’t show any emotion

Jacob Kirshner (@kirshnerjacob) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Stats and losses don’t really matter we just need to see promise, lord is showing he might be a legit 4 or 5sp which is much more than we expected and crews is looking really good lately

Jacob Kirshner (@kirshnerjacob) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Highly doubt his price went down at all but extend wood. If there’s ever gonna be a time where it would be discounted it would be now

Jacob Kirshner (@kirshnerjacob) 's Twitter Profile Photo

It’s really astonishing that the only core non Soto trade piece in the majors is crews considering we’ve been rebuilding since 21. Maybe lile

Jacob Kirshner (@kirshnerjacob) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Idc if he puts up a ton of Ks to start every season, Gore is a very solid 2 that would be a 1 for some teams but doesn’t have true ace potential. He can put up elite stretches but likely will never do it for more than a few months. Cade has actual absurd potential though

Jacob Kirshner (@kirshnerjacob) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I can somewhat understand not going after a true ace this offszn but there is no excuse to not pickup multiple SP that knock Parker and Irvin out of the rotation. Lord and Cade experiments can stay but it’s insulting to the fans that 40% of our rotation is straight buns

Christian Franklin needs playing time over RH and young. We know what young is and RH is pretty clearly not a major league starter might as well see what Franklin can be
