The more I watched this series and the strengths and weaknesses of Edmonton and Florida it gives me a lot more confidence in Chicagos rebuild. Build up the back end and be deep in forwards. Future is being shaped correctly! Just need one or two more stars that could take over.

What makes Marchand winning the cup with Florida even crazier is that if he had scored that breakaway goal against Florida in 2023, the entire league could look different. Florida could very likely be an entirely different team.

Can we stop throwing the dynasty term around like it’s nothing. Florida is a VERY good team, but a back to back cup doesn’t make them a dynasty. They need at least one more within the next year or so. I’d say at least 3-4 cups within like a 5-6 year span is a dynasty.

These Florida Panthers decided to come out as full on douchebags ever since this cup win. Insulting players, cities and fans. It’s honestly taken away from their championship and really revealed the vast majority of that team are classless losers that don’t deserve much respect.

The top of this draft class is so weird. I wanna say I’d be mad with one of these guys if the Hawks select them but each one of the (main top prospects) have their benefits and concerns. I feel like I can convince myself into every one of them.

Are us Hawks fans starting to look too far into this 3rd overall pick? James Hagens like 99% will be there for us and we could take possibly the most skilled player in the draft. His size will be fine. Dynasty hawks won by skating circles around you and were beefy on the back end

People need to stop getting caught up in the panthers way of winning. Davidson is building this hawks core the same way as the dynasty hawks teams. Fast, skilled up front, will beat you by skating circles around you, and your size is stored on the defense. Hagens will work!

I’m okay with Davidson being quiet in free agency. Like seriously who was he going to get? Drouin? Jeannot? All I would’ve liked was a top 6 talent but they were all gone by July 1 anyways. So instead of just signing guys to say you signed someone, just give the keys to the kids

We need to chill out #Bears fans. We knew this wasn’t going to all come together right away. It’s a super complex offense that is going to take an entire season to learn. It’s going to be up and down. Was this disappointing YES, but there are still positives you can take from it.

Deandre Swift isn’t it. Dude needs gigantic holes to do anything, Bears won’t be able to pass without an established run game. Go get Jeremiah Love. (Even though we should draft a tackle or pass rusher)

Don’t forget how good the Vikings defense is too. Why are we complaining how bad things looked when it’s the first time this offense is fully together in a game against one of the top if not the best defense in the league and we put up 24. If anything the defense fell apart.

Caleb Williams has played 18 career games and last night was the 3rd head coach and 4th different OC he’s played for in the NFL so far. That’s insane! If that perspective doesn’t tell you to give this time then idk what to tell you
