Well, better late than never! I finally watched ‘BEAU Is Afraid’ and I loved it. When it first came out, the reviews scared me off. I was worried about watching 3-hours focused on someone else’s mom trauma

so I waited until I felt mentally ready (or until my curiosity overpowered my fears). It’s a pretty intense ride, but Joaquin’s performance was phenomenal, and the way the film blends humor and darkness felt spot on.
