Doing the best I can these days. Bone scan was normal which is great. Waiting to get an MRI on my back to see how my slipped disc is looking. Needing/wanting to get to the cause of these issues and get feeling better. Working out is my medicine. Injuries suck. My Peak Challenge

Every Christmas Eve local school children come to Holten and Groesbeek Canadian Military Cemeteries in the Netherlands to light a candle in honour of each soldier laid to rest. The act is both humbling and beautiful and serves as reminder to be grateful for the peace we enjoy.

Yesterday was a very important day for my husband. After an almost 25 year distinguished career with the Canadian Armed Forces my husband is releasing. He served with honor and heart and he gave his all every day and the military was lucky to have him. Excited for what's next.

What a fun weekend introducing my husband to my love of runDisney. We ran the 5km, 10km and 10mile Springtime Surprise Challenge this past weekend at Walt Disney World Resort. He loved it too and pretty safe to say there will be more runDisney Challenges in our future.

We are so proud of Olivia (our friend Scott's daughter). She is with (3RCR)Army Cadet Corps and served as escort for the Queen and as the wreath-bearer for the ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier alongside King Charles. Olivia was only 6 months old when her dad was KIA.
