Well I am off to Guzz for the weekend, see some old shipmates. I know a lot has changed and perhaps not for the better. I do feel a bit weird, it’s been over 30yrs since I was there, very sentimental⚓️

Well I am back home, my shipmates were just brilliant, had a wonderful time at the Barbican. Apart from Union Strasse Guzz nowhere near as bad as I was expecting.

Bert Plumswang That’s HMS Unison back in Portsmouth. This is her crew when they were still in Malta, before being hit by the Yankee Arrow, a US armed tanker, in a friendly fire incident, which killed one and wounded two, including the CO, Anthony Daniell DSO DSC. He was my grandfather
