"i don't trust any of those places. is my dorm okay?"

"that is the least of my worries. follow me." she turned around and made her way down the street to where her apartment was – she was on a mission.

sitting next to her. "hey, you okay?"

"just letting you know – my folks aren't home. they're on vacation." she stopped in front of a tall apartment building. she held the door open for her guest.

"somewhere — do you need clothes?" she always seemed to be in a bit of a hurry. she sat her bag down by the door and faced him. "also, do you have a name?"

"i'm raina. i hope you don't mind lady clothes, cuz that's all i've got. hang tight!" she darted upstairs into her room to find some clothes. maybe it was a bit awkward to leave him down there, but oh well, at least he was safe.

she ran back downstairs and handed him a shirt and some basketball shirts. "here you go, i hope they fit okay. do you want something to eat?"

she looked concerned. "of course you can ask. shoot."

"cuz you needed help. i've been in situations before where i didn't get this kind of help so it's the only right thing to do." she's now realizing the age gap — it didn't really matter, since there was no malicious intent. "did you want food? i have some granola bars."

"no, obviously not. what's wrong?"
