Installing new irrigation system . Turf removed and trenches dug.

All irrigation pipework laid in open trenches and sprinkler heads fitted. Just have to reinstate excavated areas.

Lawn irrigation. All trenches back filled and turf reinstated. Irrigation system tested and handed over to client.

Day 2 in Russia : 69ft tank half built .

Day 3 in Russia : tank is three rings high , lots of workers but going is slow .

Day 4 in Russia : tank is finally built 69ft/10ft . The sides of the tank nearly fleeced .

Day 5 in Russia : lots of sand to be spread ready for fleece and liner.

Day 5 in Russia : sand is spread and liner is lifted into position .

Day 5 in Russia : Liner fitted , job finished . Now a long journey home .

Back at John Innes Research Centre installing high level irrigation. The second of two greenhouses the first was installed before Xmas.

Another tank build finished on the island of islay Scotland. Just made it through the snow to the ferry, then fought against high winds during the build.
