Responses like this don’t help - TPE Customer Assist - you haven’t given me any concrete or useful information and are basically saying “sort it yourself”. Very poor.

Really looking forward to attending this event on behalf of Coalfields Regeneration Trust with the great team Local Trust The pride and potential of coalfield neighbourhoods is as strong as it always has been - but they need the support to realise their ambitions.

Great opening remarks from Sarah Longlands (CLES) Centre for Local Economic Strategies at - giving a positive and energetic start to #CWBSummit Great to discuss today how we can build #CommunityWealth in former coalfield communities.

Really good point by Bev Craig about how changing discussions around economic growth need to also link into improving life opportunities. This is something we’re working to do Coalfields Regeneration Trust in our former coalfield communities. #CWBSummit

Really interesting walking tour around #Manchester at the @CLES #CWBSummit - great way to break up the sessions, learn about practical issues and get the steps in!

Interesting hearing about the high costs of housing in cities on the #CWBSummit - big contrast with former coalfield areas where some former pit areas have rows of empty houses. Building community wealth and growing former coalfields can boost them and reduce the heat on cities

Great panel discussion in the Grow Your Own session at #CWBSummit - really agree with the sentiment from Gail about the biggest barrier to community wealth building in the public sector is in attitudes not the law.

Really good point by Chris Ko of United Way of L.A. at #CWBSummit that “communities which are more excluded are more used to co-operating”. We definitely see a lot of this Coalfields Regeneration Trust in the former coalfields with our amazing community spirit.

It was great to attend the reception for new Towns Board Chairs at 10 Downing Street today. Coalfields Regeneration Trust is excited about working with them as they develop their plans for coalfield towns. Thanks to Adam Hawksbee and team for the invite and User Name for answering my Q.

Wow. So one of the main funding streams for regeneration and #LevellingUp Britain’s most left behind communities would be basically moved into the Defence budget? Interesting timing that this comes the day after Michael Gove announces he’s standing down.

We won't get any Portillo moments because of the TV channels coverage are all vapid panels and not showing any actual vote declarations

I would pay money to watch an old school election broadcast. Two psephologists around the main table, focus on the results, don’t miss a declaration. These days it just feels so dumbed down

Indeed. At geographic level, one of the strongest predictors of switching from Labour to UKIP/Leave/Brexit Party/Con 2019/Reform over the years has been the presence of coal. It should not be shocking at all
