Looking through 'The Parish of Kilbeg' by Jack Fitzsimons (of 'Bungalow Bliss' fame), I found this reference to Farrell O'Reilly giving the largest donation of £10 to a church fund in 1902, a good indication of his wealth. [And this copy once belonged to geographer Anngret Simms]
