Got to observe a CT scan today all 7.9 seconds of it 😁, was brilliant to see the results and be shown what we had suspected. North West Ambulance Service @BlackpoolHospED spent another 3hours assisting in ED as it was extremely busy.

I know I talk about it all the time, but I still don’t know how nurses, HCA’s etc do it, with the stress, the anxiety, the workload, the abuse… getting up everyday and showing care, compassion and empathy to every patient 🤯

When I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer last November, I also had covid & couldn’t be operated on because medical rules said surgery 7 weeks after covid. In that time my tumour burst inside me waiting for treatment because rules are rules- we have to obey them I was told

Do you think this is a fair statement? Members of the public have forgotten how to look after themselves, deal with minor injuries and Illnesses!!! I have to challenge and educate patients that this could of all been sorted if they were proactive with their own care.
