Well it finally happened to me. A dentist just tried to call in scripts for hydroxychloroquine + azithromycin for himself, his wife, & another couple (friends). NOPE. I have patients with lupus that have been on HCQ for YEARS and now can’t get it because it’s on backorder.

Abusing your prescriptive authority to call in scripts that are OUT OF YOUR SCOPE OF PRACTICE is a hard no. Never mind that HCQ +Azith was based on a very small, flawed trial. Calling in scripts for yourself + family members is always a no. You don’t ‘doctor’ family/yourself.

Neither is hope and prayer a primary strategy against sickness. Science and medicine need not be at odds with your faith. To think this way is fatal. By all means, be a believer, a prayer, a Jesus follower and listen to science and medical experts - to the glory of God
