Well this is a first. I sent the BC Prosecution Service a fairly standard media request — asking for arrest/prosecution numbers related to Fairy Creek — and instead of responding, they decided to treat it as an FOI request. Anyone else had this happen?

It’s ridiculous media can’t go to Jasper. I spoke with dozens of people after Fort Mac reopened and only one person didn’t want to talk. Most people who have gone through a disaster want others to know about what they went though, who they blame, what their plans are, etc. 🧵
