What shambles! What disaster for #hospitality Thousands will lose their jobs. How will they look after their family/pay rent/mortgage? This is a huge crisis. What support will those in need get?

The official govt advice is "think carefully about socialising" but no actual action is such a slopey shouldered cop out statement that puts the responsibility on the public. "We're keeping pubs and hospitality open. But uh you probably shouldn't go."

This is essentially closing hospitality by suggesting this Whitty says people should not "mix with people you don't have to" in the run up to Christmas Who is going to pay our employees, support our suppliers, how is the farmer going to be in business next year?
