Wisdom lies in the opposite of what your ego says. When I hurry to grow, I ought to slow down. When I crave more, I ought to appreciate the less. When I stress over limits, I ought to accept what I am given. x.com/taoiseverywher…

What's one thing causing you pain that you could let go? "When people see some things as beautiful, other things become ugly. When people see some things as good, other things become bad." - Lao Tzu

Is there a conflict in your life that you could choose to be calm and yield, like water? "The supreme good is like water, which nourishes all things without trying to." - Lao Tzu

What is one belief you have that you could consider the opposite to be true? "Return is the movement of the Tao. Yielding is the way of the Tao. All things are born of being. Being is born of non-being." - Lao Tzu

What's one thing you've learned from a moment of inaction, in a world obsessed with actions? "The Tao never does anything, yet through it all things are done." - Lao Tzu

Good morning to you who: • Start the day with a moment of silence • Find strength in a gentle gesture • Face uncertainty with open hearts

A farmer makes the rice shoots grow by pulling them up, a Chinese idiom telling the importance of natural laws. Yet this is what modern people do. Paid followers Injected beauty Drunk happiness Fast money Deeply, we know why we burnt out. We've forgotten how nature works.

Lao Tzu never mentions hard work in Tao Te Ching. I worked 10 hours daily to chase an immigrant dream, and I see myself as a failure. Do in alignment with the Tao was the secret that the constructs kept buried. 順道而為。

We see with our eyes. We observe with our hearts. 用眼叫看。 用心叫观。 Don't observe with your eyes. Let your heart be the guidance to see truly.

I have practiced Zhan Zhuang intermittently for about a month. It's a foundation move of Tai Chi. I stand still in an aligned posture and do meditation. Toned-up core. Back pain is gone. Stronger shoulder. The effect is non-comparable to other workouts.

Be like water. It is soft and yielding, yet it can carve through the hardest rock, not by blunt force, but by consistent persistence. This is the embodiment of Wu Wei, the art of effortless actions.

闷声发大财。 It's an old Chinese saying that you earn money quietly. Instead of shouting for attention, you put your head down and focus on where you can offer your value and help people. The greatest good is like water. Quiet yet nourishing everywhere it passes by.

The greatest wisdom lies in the simplest thing. Proper breathing is the only thing we need to take care for growth in health, life, work and connections. Never undertake that statement.
