WE'RE RAISING FUNDS FOR THERAPY‼️ With multiple need based fundraisers floating around, one must notice that we (me included) sometimes forget about how the pandemic has affected so many of us psychologically and mentally.

Especially for individuals from the marginalised communities- which is reflective of the larger discourse that surrounds mental health. Therapy and psychological intervention remains exclusive of the needs of marginalised communities.

For children that we work with, this increased period of isolation and exhaustion of personal resources, a need for psychological intervention has become eminent.

Hello! We at Light Up are starting with a SEL Activism: A Grassroots Training Program. The 6 week online- program (2nd July - 8th August) focuses on empowering the youth in SEL through community training in building interventions for marginalised spaces.

Hello! We are excited to share that we at Unbottle Emotions are starting with a new Expressive Arts Program: The Creative Connect!

Daan Utsav's #JoyofGiving week is here! we at Light Up, are running a fundraising campaign to make therapy accessible for marginalised youth and children. In 2021, we were able to crowdfund and make this dream possible for children from sex workers community and high-risk slums

The #mentalhealth sector continues to be underfunded and stigmatised. We are making efforts to not just normalise the space but also make it more accessible for children and youth from marginalised communities.

Last year we saw a wonderful transformation for our children! We saw reduction in psychosomatic symptoms, increased well-being, and a self-care plan. Supplemented by reflection done to ensure a constant growth in this therapeutic process.
