Ecosystem adoption of JPEG XL is going exceptionally quickly: it has been less than 6 months since the publication of the standard (30 March 2022), and JPEG XL is already supported in Gimp, Krita, Darktable, Adobe Camera Raw, and now also Affinity Photo!
